Conforms to Sapporo’s park restroom standards. Meeting Goal
6 of the Social Development Goals of the United Nations. Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

Both houses were printed on location with only 50 min printing time per wall. The shape of the exterior is inspired by a bud. The restrooms are also designed to be portable.

Our partner, Aizawa Technology, a precast factory in Japan has printed two different restrooms in August 2020. Both buildings were printed on site and have a short printing time. The round building (left) is a 9.5 sqm self-contained toilet consisting of 5 wall elements with a print time of only 50 minutes per wall. The rectangular building (right) consists of 4 wall elements, is 6.5 sqm in size and was printed in 2 days. Both buildings are portable and designed to meet Goal 6 of the Social Development Goals of the United Nations; Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.
